Tuesday 6th September 2005

14h - 16h : Old Lille Guided Tour

Discover the most delightful district of Lille, its architecture, restaurants, cafés and museums with a top local English speaking guide.

You will stroll through Lille’s charming streets and places and discover this beautiful city’s heritage and lifestyle.

Your guide will bring you back to Lille’s rich history thanks to a delightful walk through the main sites and buildings of the city : The Palais Rihour, The Déesse, The Grand’ Place, the Vieille Bourse, the Opéra, the Chamber of Commerce, the îlot Comtesse, l’Hospice Comtesse, the cathedral Notre-Dame de la Treille.

Finally, the tasting of some authentical local beers in a typical bar will close this tour on a convivial touch.

9h-18h45 : Bruges Guided Tour (Lunch not included. Approximately 39 €)

Your trip in this typical Belgium city will start with a tour on foot in the historical center of Bruges. Your top local English speaking guide will make you discover the symbols of Bruges : the Béguinage, the Lake of Love, the Church of Notre-Dame, the Burg and the Markt (Market place) with its famous Belfry.

After having lunch in a charming restaurant you will visit the Diamond House and enter into the diamond world.

You will be dazzled by a demonstration of diamond cutting and by the extraordinary history of Bruges as the oldest diamond center in Europe.

(Guided visit with top local English speaking guide)

This delightful trip will end with a free time before going back to Lille.
